Storyline

Cheryl dated Julian Jerome in college for 3 years, he wouldn't marry her to keep her safe from the mob. She was best friends with Olivia St. John.

She arrived in Port Charles as a hotshot financial expert in November of 1987. Scott Baldwin blackmailed her because of her involvement with a company called Medi-Serv in 1984 for which she falsified records before the company went bankrupt.

Julian died in March of 1988 and she went to his funeral reuniting with Olivia.

She starts a relationship with Robert Scorpio and they grow close but the relationship would become strained.

In May of 1988 she starts feeling sick, having liver issues but refuses to get a transplant.

Cheryl spends a lot of time hiding her relationship with Olivia and Julian, and they break up when Olivia has a picture of Julian and Cheryl delivered to Robert.

After a visit with Olivia on October 17, 1988, she went to mourn Julian at his grave, and he put her hand on her shoulder. His father had faked his death. She hid that information from Robert.

Right before the big mob summit on Halloween, 1988, Olivia has her kidnapped.

She died after being hit by a car.
