The Haunted Star was a yacht in Port Charles harbor that was converted into a hotel, restaurant, and night club.
They were continually one of the sponsors of the annual Nurses Ball charity event.

Early Days[]
In 1980, The Haunted Star arrived in the Port Charles harbor as the Cassadines cruise ship named the Titan. It was the yacht that originally brought brothers Tony and Victor Cassadine to town. The Cassadines teamed up with Tony's fiance Alex Quartermaine and managed to get their hands on The Ice Princess, the world's largest uncut diamond. They then used the yacht to travel to their partner and brother Mikkos Cassadine, inviting several guest on board for the journey. As the Titan left Port Charles, Luke Spencer and Robert Scorpio snuck on board and were surprised to find Laura Baldwin stowed away with them. The yacht brought them all to the Cassadines tropical Private Island, where Alex and Tony were killed in Mikkos' ice chamber. Luke later used the chamber to kill Mikkos himself.
Short of a year later, Mikkos's widow, Helena Cassadine decided to give the yacht as a wedding present to Luke and Laura who renamed it "The Haunted Star." Luke, Laura and Robert all bunked onboard and went into business opening a nightclub on the yacht. On its first Grand Opening Night in 1982, The Star was host to a sports benefit attended by Port Charles finest citizens.
When the Community Sports Center announces their closing due to money issues, Luke and Blackie Parrish arrange for Eddie Phillips (Sammy Davis Jr.), to star in a charity performance hosted aboard the Haunted Star. Luke later decided to put the yacht up for sale after Laura "disappeared" on the docks having been kidnapped by the Cassadines. It was sold in 1983, after Luke was presumed dead in a avalanche.

Re-Visit[]
In 2000, Helena travels with a kidnapped Lucky Spencer (Luke and Laura's son)to dine onboard The Haunted Star. Helena explained to Lucky how the yacht had belonged to Mikkos, and that she had gone to great lengths to secure it. She later sent a model of the ship to taunt Luke and Laura who almost immediately recognize it as their old yacht. Managing to track down the boat, they arrived a few steps behind as Helena and Lucky were long gone. Luke and Laura reminisce onboard the old yacht before Laura discovers a note Lucky left with directions to their next location.
Luke's Re-acquirement[]
In 2003, Jasper Jacks won the old yacht for Sam McCall which had been renamed "The Lucky Lady." When Luke discovered Sam now owned the Haunted Star he teamed up with her to start a gambling casino there on December 26, 2003. He used the casino rights he retained from closing his original casino, Luke's Place, in 1983, as according to the city charter, only one casino was allowed to operate. Skye Chandler-Quartermaine, became a partner as well and Luke managed to dupe Sam out of her ownership of the boat. The cash to redecorate and open the casino came from money that Luke found, but it belonged to Faith Roscoe. As a result Faith too, became a partner and Luke entered into a money laundering scheme with her. On its Grand Opening Night, Luke abandoned both of women while mobster Lorenzo Alcazar had the Haunted Star robbed. Faith was soon arrested for her money laundering and was furious to discover that Skye had given up Faith in exchange for immunity for herself and Luke.
The Haunted Star had another grand re-opening in 2006 where Luke hired Coleman Ratcliffe to rob the yacht so he could get his hands on some of the money his wife Tracy Quartermaine had put a hold on. Coleman, in turn, hired Diego Alcazar to help with the scheme. During the heist, the bad men were masked but Luke and Laura's daughter Lulu Spencer noticed Diego's flashy watch and set in motion a scheme of her own. She caught up with Diego before he could report back to Coleman and took the money minus Diego and Coleman's cut.
The Star had its third grand re opening in 2008, when Johnny Zacchara partnered with Luke giving him the money he needed to reopen the place. Since the Zaccharas are a mob organization, Alexis Davis, who was the D.A. at the time, had the place shut down since it was likely that Johnny was using the casino to launder money from his illegal operations. A couple years later Luke's son, Ethan Lovett took residence on board the ship and worked as a bartender for a short time.
Lulu's Ownership[]
When Luke and Ethan left town in 2011, Lulu, asked her brother Nikolas Cassadine for money to buy the Star. Nikolas gave her all the money that she needed, and she bought the casino. In 2012, Johnny went into business with her with plans to turn the yacht into a nightclub. Johnny also hired Starr Manning to perform and record on the Haunted Star's re-opening night. Since then, the nightclub has been host to numerous Port Charles events including a Halloween bash and a New Years Eve party. Johnny also had the engines of the haunted star repaired. During this time, Cesar Faison under the guise of Duke Lavery temporarily tended bar at The Haunted Star.

Haunted Star goes Missing[]
In February of 2013, Johnny gave his share of the club to Starr Manning after he was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the murders of his grandfather Anthony Zacchara and Starr's fiancee Cole Thornhart and daughter Hope Manning-Thornhart. However, Starr left town for California just a few months later leaving Lulu as the sole owner.
In March 2013, the Haunted Star goes missing from the harbor, having been stolen by Helena. She also arranges the kidnapping of Ethan, holding him hostage onboard the yacht. When Nikolas is shot and Lulu goes missing, Luke and Laura become convinced Helena is the prime suspect and with the WSB's assistance, Luke, Laura and Dante Falconeri, successfully locate and board the yacht by helicopter. After rescuing Ethan and a brief shootout, Helena is "killed once and for all" by Luke. Almost two months later The Star was towed back to Port Charles harbor by the WSB.
Back in Business[]
In May of 2013 with Lulu's permission, Franco Baldwin gathers the people who were closest to Jason Morgan, together at the Haunted Star announcing his seeking forgiveness from the citizens of Port Charles.
In August 2014, The Haunted Star is host to "Levi Dunkleman" and Maxie Jones's non-wedding. When it was revealed that Levi only wanted the Aztec jewels and revenge for his father Peter Harrell, Nathan West manages to stop the wedding. Levi quickly reacts by pulling a gun on Maxie and shooting Mac Scorpio. He and his partner, Jeffrey Scribner, then kidnap Maxie and Lulu.
In October 2014, Franco made the Haunted Star the venue for his Halloween wedding to Carly Spencer. However this was a ploy as Franco never really planned to marry Carly. He then took this opportunity to expose her betrayal to both himself and her son Michael Corinthos.
In January 2015, when Johnny is released from prison, it is revealed that he bought back his half of The Star. A few weeks later, Lulu hires Morgan Corinthos as the new bartender.
In February 2015, "Fluke," also known as Fluke, enlisted Lulu to organize a party for the A.J. Quartermaine Memorial Clinic on a yacht. Before the event, Drew Cain, under Helena's mind control, planted a bomb on the vessel. However, Drew overcame the mind control and alerted Sam. Sam then warned her brother, Lucas Jones, while Michael, who overheard the conversation, discovered the bomb. With time running out, Michael carried the bomb to the deck, where he encountered his father, Sonny Corinthos. Sonny took the bomb and leaped into the harbor, detonating it safely away from others.

In 2017, Lulu announced that she had appointed a manager for the Star, indicating that it operates almost autonomously and thus her presence is not as necessary.
On New Years Eve 2017, Carly manipulates Jason Morgan into meeting Sam on board the Haunted Star. Jason and Sam were later startled to find that Drew set the yacht's auto pilot to leave the harbor at midnight as he intended to be on onboard with Sam.
In November 2018, the yacht is host to Jordan Ashford and Curtis Ashford's wedding reception. However the celebration was cut short, when the body of Kiki Jerome was found on board having been murdered by Ryan Chamberlain.
In July 2019, Franco and Elizabeth Webber hold their wedding celebration aboard the Haunted Star. Later that night Liesl Obrecht was thrown overboard by Brad Cooper. Additionally, Kim Nero tried to rape Drew, but was stopped by Julian Jerome.
In September 2019, after his prison break, Hank Archer fled to the Haunted Star with Wiley Corinthos, whom he had abducted, believing the child was his son. Upon arrival, Shiloh encountered another stowaway, Dev Cerci, and swiftly took him hostage. Sam arrived in search of Dev and managed to persuade Shiloh to release Dev and Wiley, but she was then taken captive. Shiloh set sail for the open sea and engaged the autopilot. However, before they could escape, Jason intervened, leading to a confrontation. In the ensuing struggle, Sam shot Shiloh in the back with a flare gun, causing him to fall overboard and die.
On September 13, 2019, Lulu provided Dustin Phillips with a tour of the Haunted Star, which culminated in them sleeping together.
In November 2020, Alex Devane arrived in Port Charles shortly after her twin sister, Alex Devane, learned she was not Peter August's mother. Driven by jealousy, Alex tried to murder Anna and Valentin Cassadine. She then confronted her son Peter and his pregnant fiancée, Maxie Jones. When Anna's fiancé, Hamilton Finn, intervened, Alex kidnapped Maxie and commandeered the Haunted Star. The yacht was later located by Anna, and following a shootout where Alex was injured, she plunged into the sea and was presumed deceased.
In January 2022, family and friends gathered to say goodbye to Luke Spencer at his memorial service. This included Laura kicking out an unwelcome Victor Cassadine, a surprise video from the long dead rival Helena Cassadine wanting to get in a last word (which Laura turned off), Spencer Cassadine's interest in the "cursed" Ice Princess which Laura politely refuse as a gift from Tracy, the dramatic appearance of Luke's fangirl, mobster Jennifer Smith, and the scattering of Luke's ashes which blew to shore and choked Scott Baldwin, making it the final time that Luke got one over on his oft-romantic rival.
In February 2022, Sonny planned a romantic evening at the Star for himself and his then-wife Carly Spencer. However, under the impression that Carly would not show up, he was surprised by Nina Reeves' arrival. The encounter led to a passionate moment between Sonny and Nina, which Carly witnessed upon her arrival. This incident resulted in Sonny and Carly's subsequent divorce.
In July 2022, Mac Scorpio hosts an Open Mic Night at the Haunted Star. Epiphany Johnson and Harrison Chase both sing.
Kidnapped in an evil scheme (2023)
In January 2023, family and friends celebrated the first-ever birthday party of Britt Westbourne before her departure from Port Charles. Following an attack by the Hook Killer, Britt returned to inform her mother, Liesl, of her decision to remain in town. However, she collapsed and died in her mother's arms after succumbing to a poisoned hook wound on her chest.
In early April, as part of his mysterious plan to "save" the world and reunite his family, Victor Cassadine abducts his former lover Liesl, along with his two great-great nephews, Spencer and Ace Prince-Cassadine. He holds them captive on the Haunted Star, which sets sail to an undisclosed location. Spencer's girlfriend, Trina Robinson, secretly boards the ship, reveals herself to Liesl and Spencer, and manages to slightly sabotage the Haunted Star, including contacting her mother Portia Robinson, Laura, and step-father Curtis. When discovered, Victor initially orders her to be thrown overboard. Spencer defends her and tries to negotiate. Liesl intervenes, persuading Victor to use them as test subjects for an antidote. Two days into the voyage, the Haunted Star arrives at its destination. Using the coordinates provided by Trina and intelligence from the WSB, they find themselves on an uninhabited island off the coast of Greenland. Laura, Valentin, Drew, and Curtis set out to rescue them after the WSB declares it has no authority in the matter.
After thwarting Victor and deactivating the carbonic snow machine at the Compound, Victor flees to the Haunted Star, taking the antidote and a captive Liesl with him. Holly Sutton intercepts them and reveals her role in Victor's chemical castration. Drew arrives, incapacitates Victor, but Liesl is also hurt. Once Liesl recovers, they find Victor has escaped once more. Spencer and Trina, accompanied by Ace, head to the seaplane when they spot Victor running towards the Star with the antigen. Spencer vows to return to Trina and chases after Victor, determined to stop him.
