Rules

  • No cursing or inappropriate language please! Rule of thumb: if they can't say it on GH, then please don't write it on this wiki.
  • No cyber bullying! (Hateful, hurtful, or rude comments, etc.)  Please keep your comments about GH and not other users.
  • No bashing of actors/actresses or crew (writers, etc). Keep your comments about the show and not about real-life people.
  • Don't erase info unless you know it's wrong.
  • Do not write fake or malicious info on a page.
  • If you want to delete a page, see an admin! Thank you!
  • No spamming! Spamming is saying the same thing over and over again, or writing malicious info or info that doesn't pertain to the page.


  • No plagiarism! Plagiarism is copying and pasting complete articles from other sites; it's not only against our rules, but against the law! (Wikipedia is okay, but then the page must have {{Wikipedia|Name of article on Wikipedia}} on the top of the page! DO NOT COPY/PASTE FROM OTHER SITES (i.e. SoapCentral). You may use the site for information of course, but please put it into your own words and list the site as a reference in the Reference section of the page.

Consequences

  • Any arguments over information or edits will be decided by an admin.
  • If an admin deletes information and leaves a comment saying why, it should not be added back. If it is, a warning might be issued to the user.
  • If an admin asks for a user to cite information, please give them a citation or source, or the info will not be added back to the page.
  • A user will be warned, and then blocked, if they continue to make malicious, inaccurate, or inappropriate edits or posts.  An admin can block any user without any official warning to them at their discretion for inappropriate behavior.
  • Comments or posts will either be edited/censored (usually for inappropriate language) or deleted if they break any rules.
  • Pages that are continually edited with malicious or spamming edits will be protected so that only registered users can edit them. If a registered user is the one making the edits, the user will be warned, then blocked. In extreme cases, the page may also be fully protected so that only admins can edit it.


IF YOU DISAGREE WITH AN ADMIN'S DECISION, PLEASE NICELY EXPLAIN TO THEM YOUR REASONING. WE'RE NICE PEOPLE, WE JUST WANT WHAT'S BEST FOR THE WIKI!
