Thomas Steven "Tommy" Hardy, Jr. was a fictional character on the popular ABC soap opera General Hospital. Tommy is the son of Tom and Simone Hardy.
Background
Edit
Tommy was born in 1989 to doctors Tom and Simone Hardy, but his mother had had an affair with Dr. Harrison Davis, and she wasn't sure who Tommy's father was. A DNA test was done and it showed that Harrison was the father. When it was revealed that Harrison was Tommy's father, he sued for custody of him. Tom and Simone fought Harrison for custody of Tommy. During the battle, Tom contacted Simone's mother Pauline who confessed that she and Harrison had doctored the DNA test results and that Tom was actually Tommy's father.
Tom later went to Africa to treat refugees while Simone and Tommy stayed in Port Charles. When Tom returned, he wanted them to go back to Africa with them, but Simone didn't want to. They got divorced, and Simone started dating Justus Ward. Tommy was against his mother's relationship with Justus. They became engaged, but, seeing as Tommy would never accept their relationship, Simone ended up leaving Justus.
